This here wedding is what photographer dreams are made of! I say that for one main reason...THE PORTRAIT SESSION!
Before I get into that, when we met Victor and Amanda and heard their story, we knew instantly this wedding was going to be amazing, filled with laughter and tears. Now one thing we always ask about before hand, is if there are any family dynamics we need to be aware of or be sensitive to. Our bride, Amanda, mentioned they will be honoring her late mother and brother throughout the wedding day in various ways. You will see some of the beautiful details like the "In Loving Memory" table and the photo fixed on the bridal bouquet. I personally find so much meaning in these types of mementos because my mother had also passed away a few years prior to me getting married. It means so much to feel a loved one's presence on your big day after they have passed, not only for the bride and groom, but the family as well. This was one of the most memorable things about Victor and Amanda's wedding.
Another thing I couldn't help but jump for joy about was the bride and groom portraits! Not only did we have the most amazing location booked for portraits at a local B&B, but we had around 2 hours to shoot! Holy portrait session, Batman! I can't even explain how much more relaxed a session can be when you aren't rushed or pressed for time. If this is something you can work into your schedule, then I highly recommend having your portrait session away from your guests with adequate time. It will truly help you relax and enjoy some time together as newlyweds before you run around greeting your guests. You will not regret it, pinky promise!
At the end of the day, we experienced yet another amazing wedding day with an even more amazing couple!
